The TV pilot script for RISEN was awarded Runner Up in the Australian Writers' Guild John Hinde Award For Excellence in Science Fiction Writing.
Six finalists were selected by the judges out of over 130 entries.
The script has been inducted into the AWG’s Pathways Showcase.
The John Hinde Award was established as part of a bequest from the late Australian film critic John Hinde, whose vision was to see future generations of Australian science-fiction screenwriters celebrated through industry opportunities.
